Who are we?
We are a family-oriented team with long-standing engineering expertise and a passion for safe and sustainable EV transportation in the UK. Ensuring a safer, smarter and more sustainable environment for all communities in the UK is at the heart of what we strive for.
Our story
While our founder Gordon Riley was recovering from ill health, he visited Copenhagen for rest and recuperation. It was here that he was enlightened to the benefits of personal electric vehicles. Instead of car fumes billowing out of exhausts, traffic sitting at a standstill on the city’s roads and frustrated drivers, the city’s residents were out and about in the fresh air and clear roads riding their e-scooters and e-bikes – a picture of tranquillity and calm while navigating the challenges of everyday life.
This was the catalyst for his mission to bring privately-owned EV transportation to the UK, leveraging the successful models that European cities like Copenhagen have already adopted and implementing regulations for safe use.
What are we trying to achieve?
We aspire to be the leading force for the legalisation of electric scooters as we transition to a future where EV transportation is the norm in the UK. Our focus is to legalise the private ownership of electric scooters in the UK and provide the educational infrastructure to ensure a safe environment for users of all ages through our riding academy initiative.
